Accessibility Statement
Effective date: 2026-04-22.
Watte Properties LLC / SJ Storage is committed to making https://sjstorage.net/ accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.
Our target standard
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This is the standard most widely used worldwide, including by the U.S. ADA, EU EN 301 549, and UK PSBAR.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy
- Keyboard-navigable interactive controls with visible focus indicators
- Color contrast meeting WCAG 2.2 AA (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large)
- Image alt text on meaningful images, null alt on decorative
- Form labels and error messages associated with their inputs
- ARIA landmarks where semantic HTML is insufficient
- Responsive layout that works at 400% zoom without horizontal scroll
- Text-size adjustment, high-contrast toggle, reduce-motion, reading guide, link highlighting (accessibility toolbar)
You can access these controls at any time using the button.
Known limitations
- The embedded Google Maps iframe on the Contact page has limited keyboard accessibility. The full address is available as text for screen-reader users.
- The third-party Storage Commander payment portal may have its own accessibility limitations beyond our control.
- PDF documents older than 2026 may lack full tagging; on request we will provide accessible alternatives.
